Fever

I have almost recovered from a fever that has kept me in bed the last couple days....fevers are quite annoying, and after about six hours of lying on the couch you get bored and wish you could get up. It doesn't help either though that you wake up the next morning feeling worse...well at least today I didn't have to lie on the couch...

Sorry I haven't posted for 1...2 weeks, but I haven't had any post ideas. Well it might not matter, but I am thinking of something to write about....Just don't know what it is yet...

Washington D.C. Trip

Sorry I haven't posted awhile. Well,last week my dad had some work in Raleigh and took me with him. We flew to Portland,got on another plane and flew to Washington D.C,and from there we flew into North Carolina. After my dad was done with work we rented a car and drove to Washington and stayed there for the remaining 4 days looking at all the stuff there,(Capitol,Smithsonian,White House,Monticello,Mount Vernon etc.,)

It was a very fun trip and we did take some neat pictures

Motor Bike Stunts

  I don't know if you've ever seen them, but if you haven't,they are crazy,trust me. I mean,what dude in his right mind wants to go on a motor bike and go up a huge ramp(or even worse a cliff) and then do a flip let go of his bike and hop on again(all in midair) and then land. Well,I guess I would if I was EXTREMELY GOOD at it and there wasn't hard dirt underneath me. I mean, in training for example,do they ever fall really badly?I've seen them land sideways,but what if they crashed or flopped completely? The only time I've heard of them crash really badly is when they go off cliffs(what a bright idea...let's break some bones!)If even by looking at the riders you can tell that there kind of stupid. But maybe some of them are smart and mayabe they do know what there doing. Around half the ramp tricks aren't that crazy. But if you do ever watch them go off cliffs you will kind of see what I mean(they seem a little lacking in brains)For the most part I'm happy with watching them(although I would take a chance on a few on the stunts. But I don't have the equipment) 

Seattle

Our family went up to Bainbridge Island(Which is right near Seattle) on Thursday and got back yesterday. Most of Saturday was spent wandering around Seattle eating gelato, listening to street musicians,and then we went to the aquarium. Jerome loved looking at all the"Feeshes in the Waer"as he called them. I thought he was going to hate it,but I guess not. The only thing he was scared of was a hilarious "old man mask" that I was wearing. We also went rowing,which was very fun. The next trip I'm going on is to Washington D.C.:)

All-Comers Meets

This year I am participating in Oregon Track Club's all comers track and field competition. They are held every Wednesday and Thursday through August 6th. at Hayward Field starting at 5:30 P.M.. The first one was held last Wednesday with a pretty big turnout. I did Okay,but could have done a lot better. You are allowed 3 events. I chose Shot put,100 Meters and 400 meters. All though you have to wait in line for a while it's a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to do more posts and i want to find out how to post pictures:).
